What is a title loan?
--A title loan is a loan that allows you to get cash using your car as collateral.

How much can I borrow?
--This is limited only by the value of your vehicle and your ability to repay the loan.

What are the basic requirements for a title loan?

  1. You must be at least 18 years old.
  2. You must have proof of income.
  3. You must reside in the state of Nevada.
  4. You must bring a valid Nevada driver's License.
  5. You must bring your vehicle for inspection.
  6. The vehicle must be licensed and insured in the state of Nevada.
  7. You must not currently be a debtor in a bankruptcy case or intend to voluntarily file for bankruptcy relief.
  8. You must not be a regular or reserve member of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, or Coast Guard or a dependent of a member of the Armed Forces on active duty.

Does my vehicle need to be paid off?
--Yes. The vehicle must be clear of any liens or judgments against it.

What if there are two or more names on the title?
--Titles with two names are accepted, however both people must be present to complete the process.

Do I have to have the vehicle titled in the state of Nevada?
--This is not a problem as long as your vehicle is registered and insured in Nevada and your residence is also in Nevada.

I have two vehicles. Can I get one title loan based on both?
--No. You can only use one vehicle per title loan.

Do I need to be employed?
--No. You do not have to be employed. You may be self-employed or receive income from a source other than an employer. However, you must have a provable, source of recurring income.

Can I be retired?
--Yes, you may be retired.

What if I have bad credit?
--Yes. As long as you meet our requirements, Pioneer Loan Centers can give you a car title loan whether you have good credit, bad credit, or no credit.

What if the vehicle title is in someone else's name?
--Only the individual who's name is on the title can take out a title loan on that vehicle.--
If you recently bought your vehicle and the title is not yet in your name, you will need to have the title transferred by the DMV before you can use that title as collateral for a title loan.
